Abertay University, in Dundee, is a UK top 10 institution for both student satisfaction and teaching (Guardian University Guide 2021). Having launched the world’s first degrees in Computer Games, we’ve been ranked the #1 in Europe 6 years running (Princeton Review). The University also offers world-class degrees in biomedical, forensic, sports and food sciences, in engineering, accounting and business management. Abertay also launched the world’s first Ethical Hacking degree and is at the forefront of cybersecurity.
As a small university, Abertay students find a more personal experience, with its size making it easier to make friends and spend time with lecturers. Abertay and the city of Dundee also consistently appear in the UK’s top 10 lists for affordability. The city has sprung to international attention recently with the opening of the first V&A museum outside of London and making ‘best destination' lists for 2018 by Bloomberg Businessweek and Lonely Planet.
