The Aston University campus is located on a green 60 acre, self-contained site in the centre of Birmingham - the largest and most populous city in the UK outside London. We offer a great variety of programmes across three colleges - The College of Business and Social Sciences, The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences and The College of Health and Life Sciences.
Aston has over 50 years of experience in providing undergraduate students with integrated placement opportunities and was one of the pioneers of this approach to Undergraduate university degrees. You can choose to either work or study abroad, or do both. A work placement year gives you the opportunity to try out your chosen career path and provides you with the perfect opportunity to apply what you have learnt on your course to a professional work environment. The study placement year abroad is spent in another country, increasing fluency in another language and adding value to your degree by immersing yourself in an exciting new culture and society. We now offer integrated work placements into all of our Business related Master's courses and some of our Engineering related Master's courses.
Our course portfolio has been designed in close partnership with business and industry, giving students an ideal platform from which to build their future career. A worldwide reputation, and staff who can pass on the benefit of genuine industry experience will enhance our students’ prospects and future career progression.
