Book a meeting with an advisor from our institution

The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

We work in 28 European countries, and have experts across Europe who can help students with queries about studying in the UK.

Why book a meeting with the British Council?

You can book a one-to-one meeting with a British Council representative to discuss:

General questions about studying in the UK

British Council representatives can answer your extra questions about application processes, moving to the UK as a student, or other general topics.

A specific question from some countries

We have country experts from Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain available for one-to-one discussions related to your country, such as local exam requirements.

If your country isn’t on this list, you can still book an appointment with a British Council representative and they will do their best to help you.

We look forward to talking to you and responding to your questions.

About the British Council

The British Council builds connections, understanding and trust between people in the UK and other countries through arts and culture, education and the English language.

We help young people to gain the skills, confidence and connections they are looking for to realise their potential and to participate in strong and inclusive communities. We support them to learn English, to get a high-quality education and to gain internationally recognised qualifications.

We deliver Study UK, the UK’s national campaign to promote the UK to internationally mobile students as a first-choice study destination all over the world. We do this in partnership with the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign, which encourages people to visit, invest, and study in the UK.

The British Council’s first offices were set up in Europe over 80 years ago. Today, we have a presence in 28 European countries, and are a source of up-to-date, accurate and clear support for anyone who wants to connect with UK education, culture, arts and English language.
