With internationally renowned faculties of study in Arts and Humanities, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science and Social Sciences, the University enjoys worldwide recognition for our academic achievements and we are consistently ranked in the top 20 for most academic subjects.

We are also currently ranked firmly within the UK Top 25 (The Times/Sunday Times 2020 and Complete University Guide 2020) alongside World Top 200 (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020). At the heart of UEA is our excellence in teaching and research, this is reflected in our rankings, being awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2017-2021 and ranking World Top 50 for citations (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020).

The Campus is home to our 24 hours a day, 365 days a year library which provides the perfect tool for study, whilst we promote a work/life balance with our £30 million SportsPark, on campus art gallery and over 200 clubs and societies. There is also a wide range of shops and services including a supermarket, post office, bookshop, a bank, medical centre and our careers centre.

Career Central is our one stop hub which provides support and advice on working whilst you study, internship opportunities, careers guidance, and assistance in searching graduate jobs.

UEA’s students are guaranteed campus accommodation at postgraduate level and during the first year for undergraduates. The university’s award-winning accommodation includes a wide range of options to suit different budgets.
